Chapter 10

DRAKE

I headed down to the lobby for some extra strength painkillers, and some antibiotic cream to take care of her. As annoyed as I was at this turn of events, I couldn’t leave her alone too long, so I headed back to our place. I was still on the lookout for anything suspicious, though so far there was nothing to give me pause.

She was half asleep when I got back to the room, and when I checked her this time after getting a bottle of water from the minibar, she was warm to the touch. “Come on baby take these.” I held her up while she took her medicine before laying her back down and lifting my shirt so that I could get to her.

I hadn’t put any underwear on her because I wanted her swollen flesh to breathe, so all I had to do was spread her open to apply the cream. She fussed at me as usual but I ignored her. “Damn baby, you okay?” Her flesh felt hot and swollen around my large callused finger as I inserted it in her to get the cream as deep as possible.

“Why, what did you do to me down there?”

“How do you feel seriously?” I wasn’t trying to freak her out, but she looked like I’d pummeled her with my dick. She was red, puffy and swollen. No more for me tonight that’s for sure, unless I wanted her to walk crooked for a week. “Just go back to sleep.”

I held her until she fell asleep in my arms. My mind was going in a million directions at once as I tried to think of my next move. I couldn’t put off calling Carlos much longer. I needed to know where his head was at.

I watched her as she slept, so innocent, her long lashes resting on her high cheekbones. My little Latin flower sure did ignite in my bed, but there was no way I could keep her.

My life wasn’t for her, but I knew I was going to have her a hell of a lot more before I set her free. It was fucked but it was real. I’ll give her the money he’d paid me to kill her so she could go on and start a life of her own somewhere. After I ensured her safety.

As soon as I was sure she was asleep I eased my arm from beneath her and snuck out the bed. One last look over my shoulder assured me that she was fast asleep, before I turned back to what I’d been doing in the first place before she came after me. It wasn’t hard to find the evidence she’d mentioned, and hooking the little USB she had to my computer showed me all I needed to know.

I made copies of everything, more than a little disgusted by what I had seen, but what sent me into a murderous rage was the footage of her asleep in her bed, and taking a shower or bath.
